OK you’ve spent years possibly decades creating a collection. Or maybe you’ve just inherited a few coins from your parents or Grandparents.

Don’t take them to a pawn shop, don’t take them to a “Cash 4 Gold” type of store, and for please do not spend them at face value. First things first you need to find out how much your coins are worth. You can scan the internet and get dozens of different answers, we recommend you talk to a Professional Numismatic.

What is a numismatic? A person that study or collect currency, including coins, tokens, paper money and related objects. A Professional Numismatic is a person that makes a livelihood from currency buying, trading, and selling.

American gold coins.

Coin Worth

Do Not Clean Your Coins! Cleaning them automatically makes them worth less. A coin with a few small dings that has not been cleaned is worth more than a coin that has no dings, but has been cleaned.

Coin grading is the process of determining the grade or condition of a coin. It is used on coins that are collector’s items to determine their value. When grading coins, the characteristics of the coin under consideration are quality, interest factor, rarity and the liquidity factor.

Bring your coins, both old and new to our very own Professional Numismatist.
